Heather Lynn asked:
I use Melaleuca to do my laundry and clean the house. I am super allergic to alot of stuff, but melaleuca seems to be good for me. I would like to use products that are “all natural” or close to it. Is there anything better then Melaleuca? that is “all natural”? If so, what? and do they have a website?

No, Melaleuca is the best kept secret out there. I am a true believer of their products and will never leave the company. Welcome aboard.
I’ve been with them for over a year and am very HAPPY. It is not a scam and if you want a healthier household and life then they are cost effective and efficient.

I use greased lighting to clean blood or ink in my laundry. It cleans it without staining my laundry.

Melaleuca is overpriced for what the products contain, so it is kind of a scam on that level, as well as the fact that the sales people are in an aggressive multi-level-marking pyramid scheme structure, where only the people at the top w/ lots of sellers under them make money, and the ones on the bottom lose their shirts. I make it a practice never to buy any types of items from this type of company. And there are tons of them out there so you have to be careful, another one that supposedly sells natural cleaning products in this manner is Amway, also Mary Kay, and a number of vitamin selling companies as well.
If you live in a state that has Trader Joe’s stores, they sell very well priced non-allergin cleaning and laundry products, as does Whole Foods Market, and other health food stores. You are actually going to do better with something like that where you can buy locally than going with some business that doesn’t even have a storefront, IMHO. There might be some good reputable companies where you could order these things off the internet, but I’d stay w/ the large health food stores.
White or apple cider vinegar is a good laundry booster that softens naturally as opposed to buying fabric softener. Also look for products called “simple green” and simple orange”, and things that clean with citrus are very fresh smelling and non-allergenic. I remove a lot of sticky goo with a product called Goo Gone, which is lemon based. Hope these ideas help.

Check out the Method products that are available from Target or Method.com. They are all products that are meant to be safe for the environment and those who use their products. I use their products because I know that the products won’t hurt my son if he accidentally got into them.
I also order them from drugstore.com since there is no Target in my area. Head over to to read about al the products that they offer. I used Melaleuca products in the past, but have found that Method is a much more affordable choice.
