My roommate used an aquarium for her pet hamster for a year. I was going to give the aquarium to goodwill but didn’t know if it was safe to put fish in it after it was used by a hamster. It’s a 10 gallon glass rectangular tank. I’ve cleaned it with just normal household cleaning products and then an organic glass cleaner.

I have a lot of flies in my backyard. I have a dog, which I make sure to clean up the yard daily, but the flies won’t go away. Our neighbor behind us has a dog also that they leave out all of the time so I’m not sure if they are coming from there or not. What are some good products to use that are non-toxic to animals? We can get a bug zapper, but I would have to have it on all the time, so that’s not really an option. I live in Arizona if that makes a difference.

I have some stains on my carpet and need overall deep cleaning. The foamy kind of carpet cleaners that you get in cans in the supermarket are effective enough but have so many chemicals in the them that your house reeks of those chemicals for days plus they are bad for your health.

Is there a natural cleaner or an organic product that will do deep cleaning and take out the dirt and remove light stains. Getting professional cleaner is not an option for me.
