too bad, because WD-40 removes the soap scum like you wouldn’t believe. just spray it on shower doors then rinse off…simple.
Straight vinegar will work…eventually, but it smells funky.

Use more soap to get it off… if you have a bar of soap just rub it into the scum and you’ll be surprised how easy it is to clean.

I clean my oven and other appliances and fixtures with baking soda and vinegar, I saw this on Martha Stewart one time…I have done the same with soap scum on the tub and shower…the chemical reaction of the vinegar and soda lifts the grime…plus, there is enough grit in the soda so that when you do scrub you’ll get the grime off…and it is not bad for the environment…I use this because I am allergic to a lot of the ingredients in heavy oven cleaners and bathroom cleaners…
Run Windows on your Mac with Parallels Desktop
Baking soda, scrub, scrub then spray on vinegar…once foaming action stops give it one more good wiping then rinse with clear water. Also invest in a good squeegee….use it after you shower and it will save lots of elbow grease~

Eat out, save money
Make the following solution:
…………1/4 cup of baking soda
…………1/3 cup of ammonia
…………1/4 cup of white vinegar
…………4 cups of water
Mix VERY well & use this to initially clean your shower tiles/door.
SAFETY NOTE: Don’t let this solution ANYwhere near chlorine bleach… the chemical reaction causes DEADLY fumes.
Once the door/tiles are clean & scum/grease free, apply a coat of Gel-Gloss, let dry, then buff off. It’ll repel the water/soap and make cleaning MUCH easier. Re-apply every couple of months. Obviously this isn’t something you want to use on the shower FLOOR, unless you LIKE slip sliding away.
Also, consider NOT using soap. It’s the paraffin in soap that makes it such a scum devil. Shower gels and “natural” (non-paraffin) soaps won’t adhere to the tiles/door and attract the dirt & they are easily rinsed away.
