You can kosher beef, lamb, bison, chickens and even goat. You have to look around your area for glatt kosher meats. On line you can order too. Check out Hallal too, the Muslims have set up shop around the country and there are more of them.
However, we have ordered from “goldenwestglatt” and never have been disappointed. They only raise Angus. Of course, organic angus and grass fed, doesn’t come cheap, and they sell to restaurants. I’ve made stews with a lb. of ground and bones … got 3 meals out. So you don’t have to pay a lot to get some of that great flavor.
When we put in a order, with friends, to save on shipping.
I know it is hard to believe, but some of the restaurants here in NY by from them and what they charge … well, it is great to feed a family on one meal out.
