KATHERINE W asked:
My dental office has begun using a mixture of vinegar and Clorox with about nine-eleven to people in the building. We all have throats and noses burning, etc. The cleaning person and the doctor didn’t seem to think there was a problem. We suggest that all was a toxic mixture. Does anyone have the answer to my question: can you mix vinegar and Clorox solution for cleaning non-toxic to be used in a closed area? Thanks, Kathy

more than likely it’s the Clorox. mt gf cleans around the house once a week and one time she used too much Clorox and the effects on me were similar to what you mentioned.

its the bleach.
vinegar is pretty benign

I don’t think anything should be mixed with bleach, in a closed or non- enclosed area. The bleach alone may be an irritant in a closed in area.

You really shouldn’t mix any type of cleaners. Especially when one of the cleaners is bleach!

The Clorox is bad by itself, the gas that’s bad is when it’s mixed with ammonia, that’s a BIG NO_NO!
