you can put the plastic ones in the dishwasher and put stuffed animals/cabbage patch doll into a pillow case and wash it in the washing machine…the hair might get funky, but it will be clean, which is most important.

That Clorox any surface cleaner. I cant thik of the exact name, but I believe you can spray it with that. It says you can even spray it around food.
Listen to a Good Book
Simple Green is a very good product so safe you can drink it. I use to put toys in the wash machine and some in the dishwasher. Whatever works.
Amazing Chocolate
For the plastic ones I would use dish detergent, and rinse it off. Thats what I have always used. For the dolls I would try the delicate cycle of the washing machine. You do not really need to appy soap to it. Just let the air dry in a window where the sun hits.
